New Jersey Beer Co. and 902 Brewing Co. announce merger!

New Jersey Beer Co. and 902 Brewing Co. are excited to announce the merger of their two craft breweries. NJ Beer Co., brewing since 2011, and 902, founded in 2014, will become Hudson County's largest brewery. The merged breweries will brew in the New Jersey Beer Co. facility in No. Bergen, New Jersey.

Colby Janisch, a principal of 902, will become General Manager of the brewery. Donald J. Vogt, Jr, a principal of 902, will serve as the Chief Financial Officer and John Russo will serve the company as Logistics Manager. There will be no change with the brewery staff of brewers Dave Manka and Mehmet Kadiev, Sales Rep. Henry Pullin and Tasting Room manager Casey Herron.

Current General Manager Ari Bildner will be moving on from the brewery to work on entrepreneurial ventures in the food and beverage space after completing a successful tenure as G.M. During Ari's time as G.M., he oversaw development of several new beer styles, grew the taproom operation, and with the introduction of several canned beers helped NJ Beer Co. dramatically expand its sales and product presence throughout New Jersey’s bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. “Ari leaves the brewery stronger than ever and we are very grateful for his achievements here” said NJ Beer Co. Chairman Paul Silverman.
The merger date is tentatively set for October 30, 2017.
